First we need to find out how many pounds of food the animal eats daily:
39/6 = 6.5 pounds
We are asked to find out how many MORE days it will take for the animal to consume 91 pounds. If the animal has already consumed 39 pounds, then we need to subtract 39 from 91 which is 52 pounds. Now we just divide 52 by 6.5 which is 8. It will take 8 more days for the animal to consume 91 pounds.
