If we draw a line parallel to x axis from the graph at hours = 12000 the line will intersect again with the curve (shown in black).
So where the line intersects the curve if we measure the time at that point it would tell us the point in time that as the same defects as 12000 hours.
To measure time we drop a perpendicular to x axis from the point on the graph.
Since there are 5 divisions in a large division 0f 4000. Each small division is 800 (\(\frac{4000}{5}\)). The value of time is between 2400 and 3200.
Hence option B is the only fit!
