Can someone explain Q.1? The value I am getting is nowhere near the given options. I also do not understand how did you get 17.5% of 20,623 for 2004. Is the information misprinted or something?

the option B of Q2 is ambiguous because the you cannot look for the accurate percent in that graph. while the the two variables are just 1 % more or less than the other. Thus, it's tricky if you are not careful. I did not choose B because my estimation was 1979 : 88% and 2004: 87%. CRY

There seems to be some incongruities in the problem posted vs the problem being solved for. In the problem posted, it looks like 04' total equals 5000. If thats the case, then the answer key lines up. The total for energy in 04' is 20,623 in the princeton book. I believe this is a misprint as the answer key still indicates that C is a correct answer. Solving the question indicates that 3 percent of 20,623 is around 600 units, far more than 1/4 of the 79' energy amount. Can someone please verify this for me? :x

the second q is a little confusing. the first option is not clear. As far as the third option. i think this is true.
