For the region in which the range of the dollar amounts of t [#permalink]

The question is very tricky and maybe is hard rather than medium

We need that range and the first thought is to think, considering the stem what it tells us, to P

However, in P upon 1000 dollars 60% is 600 and the least % is 10 which is 100. 600-100=500

If you look at T 50% upon \( \approx 1200\)$ is 600 and 10% of 1200 is 168. 600-138=432.

Calculating in this way the other regions we do know that the least range is T

In T the transportation expenses are 20%.

The answer is E

the range of the dollar amounts of the four expense categories in regions:
P: 600-100 = 500$
Q: (55-13)%*1350= 567$
R: (64-8)$*1300= 728$
S: (60-10)%*1400=700$
T:(50-14)%*1200=432$
U:(63-10)%*1500=795$

so our region is T and E is correct
