We don't really need to get the actual figures for either fiscal year; all we want is the difference, and we can estimate that from the graph directly. The difference in the height of the two bars for defense spending is a bit less than one space; the solid bar goes up to one line, and the shaded bar goes a bit higher than the line immediately below that. So the difference must be a bit less than 2,000 million dollars or 2 billion, since that's how much each of those spaces represents.
