@apoorvagupta the required answer should mean the same as taciturn or brusque but in the opposite tone, because the sentence does not say that the person is not taciturn but that people mistake his ___ nature for taciturnity. The opposite can hence be phlegmatic or dispassionate. The trap answer here is melancholic since such a person may avoid speaking much due to their mental situation. However, this word lacks a similar meaning word in the options and does not stand as a direct answer to the question
