hi,

My gre exam is on November 19th, 2015. I am done with my IELTS examination with a score of 6.5.Can you guys please help me if I can submit an application for U.S and Asian universities in Round 1 or early Round 2 before taking the GRE test?

Please help me. Need advice !

Hi PraznaTeja,

Even though its a bit late but you should be good for most US school deadlines. I would strongly recommend that you check with individual program deadlines. This detail is usually present in the program website under the application section.

Hi Sandy,

Thanks for the reply, I would like to know if I can apply to the universities before taking the test in round 1?

Would it be too late? Also, I am looking forward to pursue Management Course using GRE.

For e.g In columbia business school, the date of application closes on 01-Nov-2015, so If I take the test on 19th Nov, would they reject my application?

Hi Prazna,

If the deadline is 1 November then your application will not be considered. In the application portal you have to write your GRE score, which you will not have at that time. Even thought the Application deadline is for Online application alone not a hard deadline for paper documents you will not make it in time. Better look for programs with December 15th and later as deadlines. It takes at least 10 days to get GRE scores, so you must factor in that period, as well, in your application timeline.
