Area of a Triangle:
There are numerous possible ways of deducing the area of a triangle depending on the amount of information provided in the question. In this post I will try to make an exhaustive list of formula or methods of deducing the area of a triangle.
Basic Formula

This is the most commonly used formula and its pretty trivial.

This is also known as the SSS formula which means that this formula can only be used if you have full information about all the sides of a triangle. This is also a trivial and well known method.
SAS method

This method is an elegant method and it needs the information of length of two sides and the angles subtended between them.

This formula is used when its a co-ordinate geometry question.
NOTE: Points A, B, C will be collinear if area of triangle ABC = 0.
