Hi all, I was doing the math review guide from ETS (link below for reference). They have this example and I am questioning the answer they provided.
Example 1.1.9: -32 divided by 3 is -11 remainder 1, since the greatest multiple of 3 that is less than or equal to -32 is (-11)(3), or -33, which is 1 less than -32.
Do you guys agree with ETS here? In my mind the answer should be -10 remainder 2 as it is -10.6667 in decimal form. What do you guys think?
