Hi first of all I would say that your exam, which the first section is always on a medium level and turns out is NOT that easy, you nailed 16 correct.

The second section is HARD and 10 questions on that level with the pressure and the time management is NOt a stellar result but it is NOT bad.

Of course, if you want the perfect score you have to nail at least a split of 18-18. Even though the result will not be 170 BUT 167/168 is already in the 99 percentile and would be enough.

That said, your problem is time management and accuracy. These two elements are DIRECTLY proportional to your confidence and your skills to find out a way to solve the toughest question with confidence and in the allotted time.

This is not easy, though.

When you have to deal with a hard question, the student who is able to nail it at the highest level is NOT who suddenly spot the solution BUT who finds a way to solve it without hesitation. One way. ORRR even though it is in front or hit a wall he is able to figure out how to switch the fastest lane or a backup strategy or shortcut.

This can only be achieved by practicing hard questions BUT the official ones. Questions that do not have rooms for interpretation or else.

In my opinion, you should use ONLy GRE official OR GMAT questions. Stressing heavenly on that area in which you do have less confidence

As for the powerprep: it is off as score. In the sense that it will give you an ESTIMATIOn where you stand NOT the real score.

Moreover, I do believe also that the real exam nowadays is harder than before.
