Even though it's easy, I am so confused? Can we solve logically without profit formula?

let the number of people be x.

Profit = selling price - cost.

Note:we have to make all the components parallel. Either all components using must be for single guy or for group of people.

6x -1750 = 1

5x = 1750

x = 350.

The best answer is C.

Here, we need to find the number of customers yielding the same amount of dollars in profit.

Let \(y\) customers go to watch the movie. We know that Profit = Revenue - Cost

\(y\) should be such a number that gives \($y\) in profit.

\(y=6y-1750\)

\(y=\frac{1750}{5}\)

\(y=350\)

Hence, the answer is C.
