Because is the only other synonym among the other answer choices to pair with A.

On the GRE exam this is the trick: find the right word and its synonym and you will get the right answer.

Isn't deceit and cunning synonyms? I look it in Webster's dictionary and both are synonyms.

Why isn't the answer?

This question is manipulated in the wrong way. Also the answer choices are wrong

The question is located here. https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/early-cri ... -3152.html

This post is achieved.
Ask if something is still unclear in the proper discussion
