I'm assuming the hard section is composed of some mix of medium and hard difficulty problems. Does anyone know what typical % of the quant section is hard problems?

I moved the topic. This is the right section when you ask a general inquiry about the GRE
Now, in the real test if you pick as the second section a HARD section the real hard questions 4/5 level are roughly 60 70 % at most the others are 3 or even 2 level.
It depends on the algorithm.
