We know,
Arithmetic mean= sum of all the observations / Number of observations
= x+x-6+x+12 / 3
= 3x+6 / 3
= x+2
Thus, the answer is B.

The average (arithmetic mean) of x, x – 6, and x + 12
Average = \(\frac{Sum}{3}\) = \(\frac{x + x-6 + x + 12 }{3}\) = \(\frac{3x + 6}{3}\) = x + 2
So, Answer will be B.
