think of such numbers - 2, 8, 14, ....
When h is divided by 6, the remainder is 4
think of such numbers again - 4, 10, 16, ....
What could be the combinations for h + k?
2 + 4, 2 + 10, 2 + 16
6, 12, 18
8 + 4, 8 + 10, 8 + 16
12, 18, 24
14 + 4, 14 + 10, 14 + 16
18, 24, 30
Notice that all the combination when divided by 6 will give no remainder i.e 0

When k is divided by 6, the remainder is 2
Theory: Dividend = Divisor*Quotient + Remainder
k -> Dividend
6 -> Divisor
a -> Quotient (Assume)
2 -> Remainders
=> k = 6*a + 2 = 6a + 2 ...(1)
When h is divided by 6, the remainder is 4
Assume quotient is b
=> h = 6*b + 4 = 6b + 4 ...(2)
What is the remainder when k + h is divided by 6
From (1) and (2)
h + k = 6a + 2 + 6b + 4 = 6*(a+b) + 6 = 6*(a+b+1)
=> h+k when divided by 6 gives a+b+1 as quotient and 0 as remainder
So, Answer will be A
