Both of the triangles are right triangles, so we can solve using the Pythagorean Theorem, a^2 + b^2 = c^2
3^2 + 3^2 = x^2, so x^2 = 18 and x equals the square root of 18.
3^2 + y^2 = 6^2, so y^2 = 27 and y equals the square root of 27.
y is clearly larger; the correct answer is B.
