Question 3.

Why is A a better choice? The question mentions about 1 type of protein, oligomers and not "specific proteins".
Choice B - has uncovered treating some aspects of the disease. The passage says
Quote:
Mitochondrial defects observed in Alzheimer’s and other diseases may now be treatable.

Thus it implies, some aspects of Alz disease like the Mitochondrial defects can be treated.

I can see why A is also an answer, but I have come across questions who reasoning for an answer where one instance of something should not be considered a generalization. (I think there is a passage of energy cost of blooming flowers)

This Option is supported by the following text in the passage. How is that the answer for this question ?
