Let's test some values.
case i: if x ≥ 0, it COULD be the case that x = 0
We get:
Quantity A: \(5^{5x} = 5^{5(0)}= 5^{0}=1\)
Quantity B: \(5^{5+x}=5^{5+0}=5^{5}=3125\)
In this case, Quantity B is greater
case ii: if x ≥ 0, it COULD be the case that x = 100
We get:
Quantity A: \(5^{5x} = 5^{5(100)}= 5^{500}\)
Quantity B: \(5^{5+x}=5^{5+100}=5^{105}\)
In this case, \(5^{500}>5^{105}\). SO, Quantity A is greater
Answer: D
