We need to ask our selfs.. what is bigger.
44 pounds or 44 kgs when it is given that 1kg = 2.2 pounds.
we notice that 44 pounds is smaller than 44 kgs therefore number of pounds in 44 kgs will be greater.
Answer is B.

No of kilos = 44/2.2=20
no of pounds in 44kilos = 44*2.2=96.8
