Let's test some possible values of p
case i: p = 2
We get:
QUANTITY A: p² = 2² = 4
QUANTITY B: 2p = 2(2) = 4
In this case, the quantities are EQUAL
case ii: p = 1.5
We get:
QUANTITY A: p² = 1.5² = 2.25
QUANTITY B: 2p = 2(1.5) = 3
In this case, Quantity B is greater
Answer: D
