Since 10! = (10)(9)(8)(7)(6)(5)(4)(3)(2)(1), we can see that 10! = (10)(9!)
We'll use that fact to answer the question by factoring the numerator as follows...
\(\frac{10!-9!}{9!}=\frac{(10)(9!)-9!}{9!}\)
\(=\frac{9!(10-1)}{9!}\)
\(=10-1\)
\(=9\)
Answer: B
