This question is testing PEMDAS (Parentheses/Exponents, then Multiplication/Division, then Addition/Subtraction), at least in Quantity A.
Make sure that you simplify inside the parentheses, and then multiply, before subtracting:
\(14 - 3(4 - 6) = 14 - 3(-2) = 14 + 6 = 20\)
Quantity B is \((4)(-3)(2)(-1) = 24.\)
Hence option B is correct!
