We can get both equal by just multiplying it.

since there is "than" in the question should we not add 0.063 and 0.42 after multiplying and then compare?

You do not need to multiply or think about than

You just have to compare the two quantities.

A is \(200*0.063\) \(=\) \(200 * \frac{63}{1000}= 2*\frac{7*3^2}{10}=\frac{7*3^2}{5}\)

B is \(30*\frac{42}{100}=3*\frac{7*2*3}{10}=\frac{3*7*3}{5}=\frac{7*3^2}{5}\)

The answer is C

Here, the word 'than' is just ETS is messing with you. For example,10 is 5 times Greater than 2 and like that.
