I took the GRE after 4.5 months of studying and scored a 319 (160V/159Q). I'm retaking it again in two weeks and was hoping to see if anyone could provide some advice on how to reach my goal of 324? Below is some more context for reference.
I'm consistently scoring 160-161 on verbal and 158-160 on quant and haven't been able to improve over the last month of studying since I took the exam. What's most frustrating is that I am consistently getting 16-18 questions correct on the first verbal and quant sections, but only 10-12 correct on the 2nd (harder) verbal and quant sections.
Any tips or insights on how I can improve my performance on the harder sections?
Anyone with similar experiences/success stories from other test takers would be really helpful.
Thank you all!
P.S.
What I've used to prepare:
-
Magoosh: I completed all of the lessons and 90% of practice questions
- Manhattan practice tests: I took all 6, reviewed mistakes multiple times each
- ETS Power Prep 2: completed both practice exams and ETS Power Prep Plus Test 1
