Given: \(3:x=7:10\)
We can rewrite as follows: \(\frac{3}{x}=\frac{7}{10}\)
Cross multiply: \(7x = 30\)
Divide both sides by \(7\) to get: \(x = \frac{30}{7}= 4\frac{2}{7}\)
So we have:
QUANTITY A: \(4\frac{2}{7}\)
QUANTITY B: \(4\)
