Subtract 3x from both sides: 7y > 4x + 3y
Subtract 3y from both sides: 4y > 4x
Divide both sides by 4 to get: y > x
Now, we'll deal with the two quantities
QUANTITY A: x + 2y
QUANTITY B: y + 2x
Let's use matching operations
Subtract x from both quantities to get:
QUANTITY A: 2y
QUANTITY B: y + x
Subtract y from both quantities to get:
QUANTITY A: y
QUANTITY B: x
Since we already learned that y > x, the correct answer is A
