When I read the question above the first thing to notice is that 4/x<-1/3

X MUST be negative for having that

A is false. we do know that x is above -12 but can be negative or also positive

C is out x is >0 but must be negative

E x is negative but we want the RANGE. so it is out

B tells us that x is > 0 but mUST be negative

D is the only plausible option. It is negative and in the range between -12 and zero
