Since q = 8, we can take the other equation, 5p + 6q = 74, and replace q with 8
When we do this, we get: 5p + 6(8) = 74
Evaluate: 5p + 48 = 74
Subtract 48 from both sides to get: 5p = 26
Solve to get: p = 26/5 = 5.2
So, we have:
QUANTITY A: 5.2
QUANTITY B: 5
Answer: A
