\(A_n\) = \(n*(-1)^{n-1}\)
\(A_1 = 1 * (-1)^0 = 1\)
\(A_2 = 2 * (-1)^1 = -2\)
\(A_3 = 3 * (-1)^2 = 3\)
\(A_4 = 4 * (-1)^3 = -4\)
\(A_5 = 5 * (-1)^4 = 5\)
To find the range, we need the numbers in ascending order.
\(-4 , -2 , 1 , 3 , 5\)
Range \(= 5 - (-4) = 9\)
Answer C
