The 9x4 poster has an area of 36 sq ft.

Let a = the area of the rectangular wall.
If 36 sq ft = 0.18 * a, then a = 200 sq ft.

The area of the poster is $\(9 \times 4=36\)$ square feet. .

It is given that $\(18 \%\)$ of the area of the wall is 36 . Therefore, $\(100 \%\)$ of the area of the wall is $\(\frac{100}{18} \times 36=200\)$. Thus, the correct answer choice is $E$.
