If \(a \times b = 6\)
then \(a=2\) and \(b=3\) or \(b=2\) and \(a=3\)

\(\sqrt{(2-3)^2}\)

NOTE: Some people wrongly cancel the root and the power 2 in \(\sqrt{(-1)^2}\), which will give us \(-1\) as the answer. We should always follow PEMDAS and evaluate the expression under the root and then find the root.

If a*b = 6
--> a = 2 ; b = 3 or a = 3 ; b = 2
Either way, √(a - b)^2 = √1 = 1
If a*b = 6
--> a = 2 ; b = 3 or a = 3 ; b = 2
Either way, √(a - b)^2 = √1 = 1
