Given:
Quantity A: 2a
Quantity B: b + c

Since we're told that a = b, we can take Quantity B and replace b with a to get:
Quantity A: 2a
Quantity B: a + c

Now subtract a from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: a
Quantity B: c

Since we're told that a < c, the correct answer is B
