1 foot = 12 inch
So, let's convert everything to inch first.
Length of the board = 2 feet 10 inches = 2*12 + 10 = 34 inches
WE need 4 boars, so total length = 4*34 = 136 inch
Convert this to feet = 136/12 = 11.33 ft
So, we need at least 12 feet
So, answer will be D
