the trick is to use maximum and minimum values . For 1 paragraph the words are given as between 110 and 120.
therefore,
15 paragraphs should at least contain 110 * 15 = 1650 words
and should not go beyond 120 * 15 = 1800 words .
Now when we look at the answer choices only D)1740 fits in between.

lets consider minimum no of words ... 15 * 110 = 1650
Lets consider maximum no of words .... 15*120= 1800
answer should be one of these two values or should lie between these two values ...
only 1 option D - 1740
