We are asked to provide an answer in minutes. So let's change the unit into minute.
80 characters per second = 4800 character per minute
Average character on page = 2400
Hence the printer will take 30 seconds (\(\frac{1}{2}\) minutes) per page
Now for M page, the printer will take = M * \(\frac{1}{2}\) = \(\frac{M}{2}\)
Answer C

Hi,
As the printer can print 80 words per second, it can print 80*60=4800 words per minute.
Thus, 2400*M/4800=M/2 (We multipled 2400 by M because there are 2400 words per page for M number of pages)
