Here we have 6 people and from 6 people 1 president, 1 vice president and 1 treasurer is choosen.
SO we use the Fundamental counting
i.e 6 * 5 * 4
(For president we have 6 people to choose from, For vice president we are left with 5 people to choose from, For treasure we are left with 4 people to choose from)
= 120

Since we have specific positions on the committee, order matters and we have a permutation. Thus, the number of ways to select 3 people from 6 is 6P3 = 6!/3! = 6 x 5 x 4 = 120.
Answer: E
