Take white rose = \(x\) & red rose = \(y\)
\(x + y = 55\)
Red rose plants is 10 more than twice the number of white rose plants
\(y = 2x + 10\)
By solving, \(x = 15\) & \(y = 40\)
Ratio = \(\frac{x}{y} = \frac{15}{40} = \frac{3}{8}\)
\(x + y = 55\)

By solving, \(x = 15\) & \(y = 40\)
