Let t = number of tables sold and c = number of chairs sold
The price of a table is $150, so the revenue from selling tables = 150t
The price of a chair is $85, so the revenue from selling chairs = 85c
Total revenue = 150t + 85c = 1925
The number of tables sold is 5 more than the numbers of chairs sold, so t = 5 + c
Replace t with (5+c) into the total revenue equation:
150(5+c) + 85c = 1925
750 + 150c + 85c = 1925
235c = 1175
c = 5
t = 10
c+t = 15
