Likewise, to approximate a decimal to the nearest tenth, you must keep the first digit after the decimal point, rounding up if the following digit is 5 or greater. In this case, the hundredth digit is equal to 0, which may or may not be 5 or greater. Thus, you do not know whether Quantity B should be 1.5 or 1.6. Accordingly, you cannot tell whether Quantity B would be less than, equal to, or greater than 1.50. You do not have enough information to answer the question.
