Answer is (B) 8 This is based on the powers of 2. So if the total weight is 7, we would need just 1,2 and 4 gms, just 3 weights to measure all weights till 7, Here it's 300 and the closest max power of 2 is \(2^8 = 256\) and we can measure all the weights up to \(2^9 - 1 = 511\)
