Let's take the price of adult's ticket = 3x
We are given that the price of children's ticket is two-thirds of the adult's.
So price of children's ticket =\frac{2}{3}*3x = 2x
Now, seven adult tickets and three children’s tickets cost a total of $108
\(7 ( 3x ) + 3 ( 2x ) = 108\)
\(21x + 6x = 108\)
\(27x = 108\)
\(x = 4\)
The cost for adult's ticket = 3x = 3*4 = \(12\)
