Useful (and often tested) property: \(\frac{a+b}{c} = \frac{a}{c} + \frac{b}{c}\)
Apply this property to Quantity A to get:
QUANTITY A: \(\frac{ab}{b}+\frac{b^2}{b} \)
QUANTITY B: \( a+b\)
Simplify Quantity A to get:
QUANTITY A: \(a+b\)
QUANTITY B: \( a+b\)
