From the chart we have to find the two month period where the two dots are as close in the height as possible because the line joining them would be most horizontal and the slope will be almost 0. If the slope is 0 then the increase in the y coordinate is the least and the energy cost increases the least. The only line or the two month period that satisfies the following is the April-May one.
