I saw a link to admissions consultant organizations through the GMATprep site but, where would I find a list of professional consultants who focus on PhD programs as opposed to MBA programs?

the same consulting companies that advise you to prepare the package for the MBA admission are able to stand for the PhD

Considering also that the purpose of an MBA and a PhD is different. The goal in the end, why you want an MBA rather than a Ph.D. Clearly

However, the process to get into is pretty much the same
