Let's consider total number of students is 100.

Since there are equal number of 7 and 8 year olds,

number of 7 year olds- 50
number of 8 year olds-50

Since, out of 50, 15 7 year olds are girls,

there are 50-15 7 year olds who are boys.

Hence there are 35 7 year old boys in the school out of 100.

Hence 35%.
