Let's assume the total number of employees to be 100x.
Now, form the 2 set matrix.
Let's start with the last sentence that 40% of employees are female so we get 40x employees as female, out of which 50% have an MBA so 20x have an MBA and 20x do not.
Since, 40% of the total employees are female so 60x employees are male out of which 30% of have an MBA so 70% do not have an MBA
So,\(\frac{70}{100} \times 60x = 42x\)
Total number of people who do not have an MBA = \(42x + 20x = 62x\)

0,7 * 0,6 * 100 + 0,5 * 0,4 * 100 = 42 + 20 = 62 [employees not holding an MBA) --> D
