Let Al's age be $a$ years.
Cleve: \(4 a\), Bob: \(a-3\).
$$
\(a+4 a+(a-3)=81 \Rightarrow 6 a-3=81 \Rightarrow 6 a=84 \Rightarrow a=14\) .
$$
Al is 14 years old, which is greater than 13 .
Cleve: \(4 a\), Bob: \(a-3\).
$$
\(a+4 a+(a-3)=81 \Rightarrow 6 a-3=81 \Rightarrow 6 a=84 \Rightarrow a=14\) .
$$
Al is 14 years old, which is greater than 13 .
