Let's examine some possible case
Case i: It could be the case that ∆ADC is an isosceles triangle, which means ∆ADB and ∆CDB IDENTICAL triangles.
In this case, Quantity A EQUALS Quantity B
Case ii: It could be the case that ∆ADC is NOT an isosceles triangle, and we have something like this:
In this case, Quantity B is GREATER THAN Quantity A
Answer: D

Cannot we use the property that when two angles are equal , the sides opposite to the two angles will also be equal and hence in this case AB will always be equal to BC
