for it includes no conceptual space for grasping these forms of struggle as political.
From this second sentence, we do have a blurry idea of what could be the first blank. The notion that Debois has is ??? to include NO conceptual information, basically. As such, the first blank should address this concept which is the contrary of a wide range, pretty clear. Speculative is out of scope and conceptual is a repetition of the same concept just mentioned. So the first blank must be narrow. The contrary of wide
