Average (aka mean) \(=\frac{85+76+98+76+100+75}{6}=\frac{510}{6}=85\)
Mode = 76 (since we have TWO 76's and ONE of each other value)
Difference = 85 - 76 = 9
Answer: C

Sophia received quiz scores of 85, 76, 98, 76, 100, and 75
=> Average = Sum/6 (As there are 6 scores)
= \(\frac{85 + 76 + 98 + 76 + 100 + 75}{6}\) = \(\frac{510}{6}\) = 85
Mode of the set will be 76 as 76 has occurred the maximum number of times in the set.
=> Sophia's Average is 85-76 = 9 greater than her mode.
So, Answer will be C.
